はじめてのてまり体験 ～加賀てまり～

そんなこんなの片思い期間、教室に行けないなら自分で作ってみようと、本も買ってみました。

てまりを地球に見立てる？北極？南極？は？

そもそも、360度球体のてまりを2Dの平面図と説明では分かるはずもなく、即挫折。

でも本に載っているてまりが可愛くて可愛くて、毎日パラパラと眺めてました。

 

その後、「加賀てまり」の存在を知り、金沢の友人を訪ねるついでに『毬屋』というてまり屋さんで、初めての体験クラスを受けました。

地割りまでされた土台に、菊の模様をかがっていくのみでしたが、夢中になってあっという間に2時間経過。

今でもそうですが、てまりを作っていると時間があっという間に過ぎてしまう。

働いている時は長く感じるのに不思議・・・。

 

そして初めて買ったてまりの本の著者、寺島綾子さんがここの『毬屋』出身だったと知ったのは、何年も経った後でした。

 

As I couldn't go to the Temari class, I bought a book trying to make it by myself.
"Think of Temari as the earth." "Here is North pole and the other side is South pole and ...."
Well, basically Temari is 360-degree sphere. It's impossible to understand by just seeing  2D photos and written explanation.
Though, I enjoyed just looking those cute Temari photos every day.

After a while ,at last I had a chance to take one day class of making temari in Kanazawa.

I was so into making it that the time passed so fast.
Although it's the same "time" but when I'm working, the time goes by so slowly but it does flies when making Temari.

Como no podía tomar la clase de Temari, compré un libro probando hacerlo  de mí mismo
"Piensa en Temari como la tierra". "Aquí está el polo norte y al otro lado está el polo sur y..."
Bueno, básicamente Temari es una esfera de 360 ​​grados. Es imposible entender solo ver fotos planas y explicación escrita.
Sin embargo, disfruté mucho mirando esas lindas fotos de Temari todos los días.

Después de un ratito, por fin tuve la oportunidad de tomar una clase de un día para hacer temari en Kanazawa.

Estaba tan metido en hacerlo que el tiempo pasó tan rápido.
Aunque es el mismo "tiempo", cuando estoy trabajando,el tiempo pasa muy lento, pero vuela cuando hago Temari.
